The Generals Daughters Sales & Marketing Group is the brain child of The General and his Daughters, co-owners Aimee Dean and Rebecca Ransom. Together they bring with them over 45 years of experience in Brand and Marketing Strategy, Advertising, Digital Implementation and Public Relations. In addition extensive experience in Business Sales Development Programs, Team Campaign Coaching, Sales Training and Operational Sales Frameworks.
COO - Director of Sales Force
Rebecca builds strong, lasting relationships, shooting from the hip, straight forward, and to the point! A professional coach, leader and business executive with over 25 years experience in a diverse range of industries ranging from banking and financial services, through to childcare, education and 'for-purpose' organisations.
Rebecca has an incredible knack for translating strategy into clearer pictures and operating rhythms to enable immediate and effective results. The inherent focus in all interactions is making sure these pictures are right for and for your people! Rebecca works best with courageous leaders, thinking outside the box, building confidence and transforming people's potential. Head of Brand Strategy and Creative
Adrian is an accomplished business leader, brand strategist and a former award winning Creative Director with broad experience across many product categories, markets and communication disciplines.
At the Generals Daughters he brings over 30 years’ experience successfully delivering profitable growth through the alignment of business objectives with brand, marketing, sales and the customer.
He has had a successful career in the top multinational advertising agencies building some of the biggest and best known consumer brands. He has twice successfully built his own agency, so he is uniquely placed to understand the critical importance of adding genuine value to a clients bottom line by securing a greater share of the future for their brands.
A passionate brand advocate and a champion of great ideas. Adrian’s work has been recognised in effectiveness and creative awards consistently both domestically and on the world stage.
An award winning senior integrated brand marketing and communications executive, Aimee is a brand and business leader with over 25 years specialising in developing high performing teams known to deliver exceptional commercial results.
Aimee won the Gene Kummel Scholarship during her long tenure at McCann Erickson Advertising, winning a Scholarship to New York and General Motors in Detroit in the early 2000’s. Aimee is a result driven, dynamic and influential leader with experience across both multi-national brands on the client side, Advertising agencies and Public Relations. Over the past 25 years she has led and developed multiple disciplined teams and business units focused on brand development, integrated marketing and digital solutions to deliver outstanding results for brands and their customers.
She also successfully built and run her own agency, The Council Brand Communications Group, which was later sold and integrated into the Whybin TBWA group in 2006 to become TEQUILA the TBWA global integrated agency arm.
Specialties include: Brand and Marketing Strategy, Leadership Development and creating a highly motivated team culture. Business and Operational Transformation, Commercial Performance, Digital Vision & Implementation, P&L Management.

Matt is a senior insights and strategy professional with over 17 years’ experience helping clients better understand the culture, category and consumer in which their brands exist to help them navigate the path to sustainable growth.
Having worked in Australia, New Zealand, and throughout Asia, helping brands and businesses from global giants to start-ups, he has significant experience across a wide range of sectors including banking & finance, education, government, media & technology, not for profit, property, retail, tourism, hospitality, sports and leisure.
Matt has a passion for people, utilising best practice methodologies to help better understand them, their needs, wants and desires, spanning early phase exploratory objectives through to go-to-market activation and performance assessment.
Media Forces Commander
Nick is the National Media Commander and Paykel partner to The Generals Daughters and brings more than 20 years experience in media agencies to his clients business.
Nick has worked in senior regional roles for a number of multi-national agencies, such as Regional Director at MediaCom and OMD International Managing Partner.
Nick has extensive experience working across retail, FMCG, education, property, non-for-profit, over 50s and financial services.
Head of Design
Nicole is our secret weapon. Armed with over 20 years experience in all facets of design and production, Nicole is one of those rare breeds whose skills translate across both traditional and new digital media.
At The Generals Daughters, Nicole is responsible for ensuring all creative communications are produced on time and on budget for our clients, and to a standard of quality the Daughters demand.
Nicole is hands-on in everything she does. She can manage large complex campaign production projects and still loves to jump on the electronic tools to get the job done.
Over the journey, Nicole has worked on many brands at a variety of local and national marketing agencies, but it is her two decade-long, successful relationship working with both Aimee and Bec that keeps her on the front line at The Generals Daughters.
Louise King is an experienced Office Manager with over 20 years experience managing complex businesses and operations. Lou, like the rest of the TGDs is a straight shooter and takes no prisoners when it comes to getting things done.
Lou is our head of the Troops and manages the outsourcing of our marketing and sales teams working onsite at our various client’s businesses.
